Where we left off….
Buffy, her friends and the newly awakened potentials were getting out of a bus, standing on a cliff and looking down into what used to be the hell mouth.
Angel and what remains of his friends are preparing to battle, what is most certainly a fight to their deaths.
Where we are picking up…
London: The council has been rebuilt inside a hotel, this is the new slayer HQ. Giles, Xander, and Andrew run operations here, and keep everything in order. Here girls are trained, then sent out over the globe to face the forces of darkness usually in teams of 2 or 3. Buffy, Faith, and other prominent slayers are sent out only on the ‘big’ assignments.
Buffy is attempting to have a normal life, whenever it is convenient, but with more slayer power, the forces of evil are ramping it up a notch and sending out bigger badder big bads. Faith is loving the pace. Willow is adjusting to the constant requirement for her to use magic. Xander is trying to date, and stay busy, but his mind always drifts back to his beloved Anya. Dawn is taking college classes, and training to become a watcher. Everyone else is doing their own thing and trying to be useful.
L.A. : Is on the verge of being destroyed. Demons and chaos have taken over the city, and it is up to the few rebels, and heroes to keep it contained within the city limits. The Los Angeles branch of Wolfram & Hart has been destroyed, and its loyal servants are dwindling. Lucky for them they have branches all over the world. And it is only a matter of time before the London branch plays it’s part. With little warning of the evil about to rise, Angel must race against time to warn the slayers. A new breed of big bad is about to rise, one so powerful it will balance out good and evil once again. A scale that has been heavily tipped in ‘goods’ favor ever since Willow gave the potential slayers power.
Angel, Spike, Illyria, and Gunn have just arrived in London. While Illyria and Gunn are happy to be safe, and in the company of people that can help. Angel and Spike are nervous about seeing a certain slayer. And her new ‘immortal’ boyfriend.
